Match Reports

Win number two moves Stour up the league table to 8th place

Stour even up the fixtures in this nine try thriller that saw the home side down to 14 men and ‘Dale scoring all of their 24 points in the second half.

Stour come away from Dore Moor, empty handed despite having the majority of possession and territory in a game punctuated by penalties conceded by both teams.

The formbook suggested this would be a tough game and so it proved with the added disadvantages of a stiff breeze and rain which the home team managed better.

Season opens with a five point win for Stour against a stubborn Lions team that challenged all aspects of the home side's game!

Twenty five points for Aley in his debut game and some superb individual performances in both attack and defence ensure Stour get off to a solid start.
