Two dominant performances from Hinckley Under 12's defeat Lutterworth 75pts to 5pts.

Hinckley Under 12's welcomed the visit of Lutterworth on a wet, windy, and freezing cold morning, with a full squad of 22 for the first time this season.

The first match of the morning saw Hinckley who are notoriously slow starters come out firing on all cylinders, the forwards were once again excellent in out rucking their opponents, this lay down the platform for the backs, who linked excellently for Webb to get the first score on the board. Further scores followed in quick succession from Davey, Dalby, and a second from Webb putting the match out of Lutterworth's reach. A confident debut for Wass who put in some crunching tackles along with Nixon helped Hinckley to a 20pts to 0pts lead at half time.
The second half Hinckley made a large number of substitutions along with the introduction of new players, and once again the half belonged to the Hinckley forward pack who dominated especially in the scrums, Lutterworth unable to capitalize on Hinckley handling errors due to the dominance of the forward pack, who turned over the visitors in every scrum, and with Nixon finding his feet for a quick fire brace followed by a score from Long, rounding off an excellent team performance.Final Score Hinckley 35pts Lutterworth 5pts.

Hinckley's second match against the visitors saw a carbon copy of the first, a score for Long straight from the kick off, followed by Davey from the restart opened the flood gates. Once again the forwards dominated, Lockett for Hinckley continually disrupted the visitors with excellent rucking, and with some powerful running from Coghlan, and Dalby, put Hinckley in perfect position for the forwards to secure the ball and release O'brien, Webb, Handford, and a second try for Davey to lead 30pts to 0pts at half time.
The second half was cut short due to the dominance of the Hinckley pack, but this didn't stop Webb and O'brien crossing for their second scores of the match.
Final Score Hinckley 40pts Lutterworth 0pts.
