Hinckley Under 12's continue great form @ Market Harborough winning 2 from 2 in triangular series of matches

Hinckley RFC Under 12's travelled to Market Harborough to compete in a triangular series of matches along with Melton Mowbray.

Hinckley once again got off to a flying start in their first match against Melton, Dalby running deep inside Melton's half from the kick off to release Handford for Hinckley's first score, Hinckley's dominant forward pack were excellent once again forcing Melton into handling errors, and with a powerful scrum metres short of the line released Long for his first and Hinckley's second of the match, the forwards continued their dominance in the rucks and mauls securing ball for the backs who linked excellently to release Webb to score Hinckley's third, Blackman, Sharkey and Handford showed excellent hand speed who rewarded the forward pack for their hard work, released Long to complete his Hat Trick and end the half 25pts to 0pts.
Hinckley once again made a large number of substitutions at half time, but this didn't upset their rhythm as they applied pressure from the kick off which resulted in a knock on, and another dominant winning scrum allowed O'brien to cross, great defensive tackling from Nixon,Wass, and Phipps, halted any serious attacks from Melton, and once again Hinckley's backs showed excellent team play and vision to release Webb, and O'brien, to round off an excellent team performance. Hinckley 40pts Melton 0pts.

Hinckley's second match of the morning saw them up against a much tougher Harborough side who caused Hinckley a few more problems at the break down, despite this the front row of Lockett, Smith, and Davey, stepped up a gear to come out on top, and with some powerful running from Davey crossed to put the away side ahead, the home side quickly replied with some strong running to end the half all square. Hinckley 5pts Harborough 5pts.
The second half saw Hinckley dominate despite a number of changes, excellent running once again from the backs released webb who straightened up to find the gaps in the Home sides defense to edge Hinckley ahead, Nixon then crossed to put the match out of Harborough's reach. Hinckley 15pts Harborough 5pts.
