Two magnificent matches of rugby, saw Hinckley lose unbeaten home record.

Hinckley Under 12's Sponsored by Apollo Carpets Entertained Loughborough in two excellent games of rugby for both sides on a brisk Sunday Morning.
Match 1:
Hinckley got off to a great start in the first match with a quick fire burst from Dalby who crossed to put the home side ahead, but this was the only try for some time for the home side as Loughborough's large forward pack took charge, being quicker at the breakdown and driving straight through the heart of the Hinckley defence, stunned the home side with  four scores of their own, Hinckley's unbeaten home record looking in jeopardy, and with Loughborough's huge prop dominating, allowed the away side to edge further ahead before half time. Hinckley 5pts Loghborough 30pts.
The away side's forward pack continued their dominance in the second half, Hinckley tacklers yet again failing to take the legs from the huge Loughborough prop, who again put them further ahead, Hinckley rallied through Wass and Sharkey both scoring, and with Upton finally taking the legs from the Loughborough prop, Hinckley started to play the rugby they know they can, allbeit late in the match, and Hinckley having no time to claw back the deficit lost their first match of the season at home. Hinckley 15pts Loghborough 40pts.
Match 2:
Hinckley reeling from their first home defeat of the season came out for the second match all guns blazing, a powerful burst from Smith opened the first half  flood gates, Handford followed with an excellent take and finish yards short of the line, before Smith crossed once again for his second, with the Hinckley forward pack finally dominating the break downs and pushing the Loughborough pack back in all scrums, set the platform for the backs to find their feet, Webb crossed for his first, a second score for Handford, followed by Webb once again, ended an unbelievable first half. Hinckley 30pts Loughborough 5pts.
Hinckley's poor tackling crept back into their game in the second half, once again allowing Loughborough's man mountain of a prop to score and steady the Lougborough ship, and undue some of the home sides good first half work, but Hinckley gritted their teeth and dug deep, the forwards forcing their way deep inside the away sides half and capitalise through Phipps, who with a powerful run forced his way over the white wash, Webb for Hinckley then rounded off an excellent match with his second and Hinckley's 8th score, to finish the match Hinckley 40pts Loughborough 20pts.
