Hinckley's second match was a much tougher encounter against Market Harborough, and although the Hinckley forward pack once again dominated, the defencive efforts from Harborough managed to hold out Hinckley attacks, equally Hinckley's defencive efforts were as strong which resulted in a 0-0 score line at half time. The second half Hinckley finally managed to penetrate the Harborough defence, which saw Webb break through only to put the ball down short of the poorly marked out try zone, and when Blackman dived for the line which was again short, let Harborough off the hook to end the match Hinckley 0pts Harborough 0pts.
