Coalville

Another good start for our 22 lads.
Well done!
Today’s game against Coalville was the last of the training type matches, introducing the scrum with an 8 man and drive. Our scrum looked strong and in control, providing a good ball for backs to attack. A number of tries scored in our favour before the half time break.
Rucking and clear out needs working on and will be the focus on Wednesday. There are many games ahead when we shall face stronger forward play. But I know this is an area we can do very well.
Backs hands were ok but also can be better, following a stutter and slight confusion in the second half Coalville scored a couple, although we stabilised before then end to show we were on top.
Communication remains a top priority and we must get to a point soon with one or two dominant voices leading on the pitch. This has improved from last week so will no doubt continue next.
Otherwise another good strong Hinckley performance.
