6. HEALTH & SAFETY

HRFC Supporters, Players, Coaches and All Other Associates,

Just a note to say that the Committee at HRFC is fully committed to provide a safe and healthy environment for all people supporting playing and using our facilities. To be able to do this and continually improve we have now a Health and Safety team in place consisting of Angela Cluley and myself fully supported by the whole committee. We are not here to put blockers in place but are dedicated to ensure HRFC can continue to operate without any unsafe practices at Leicester Road. This is not just down to Angela and myself but is the responsibility of everyone involved so if you see anything of concern at Leicester Road please let me or someone at the Club know, no matter how small, and we will action as required.

A recent and good example several weeks ago:- I observed that spectators had climbed on to the dugout roof and on top of the container to watch a game. Clearly this is not a designated viewing area and the implications of falling off could be very serious. On this basis I would ask that all HRFC team managers and members take the necessary steps to ensure that this does not happen again.

Many thanks for you cooperation and enjoy the game and our fantastic facilities.
