Gemma has sent the following words - "It is now with great sadness that I have to announce the details of My Big Man's funeral. The funeral will be held on Friday 28th August - 12:00 noon - St. Peters Church, Leicester Road, Hinckley, followed by a private committal. Everyone is then welcome to join us at Hinckley Rugby Football Club, Leicester Road, Hinckley afterwards."

She would also like to convey a huge thank you to everyone for all of the kind messages and offer of support, and although she has not been able to personally respond until now they have been hugely reassuring to the family at this time."

The family have asked for rugby colours to be worn and family flowers only.

Donations can be made in memory of Robert Walton which will form the basis of a Trust Fund for his children's education.
