Hinckley Director of Rugby Chris Campbell has confirmed the senior coaching set up for next season with new roles, new faces and current players taking their first steps into coaching.

Emyr Lewis, who has been involved with the club in various coaching roles over the last 10 years has been appointed as Head Coach. The Head of Rugby at Loughborough Grammar School brings a wealth of experience from his time as an international player and now well respected coach in the rugby schools circuit. Ben Avent and Luke Coltman continue in their defence and forwards roles respectively, whilst Tom Wheatcroft is promoted from skills coach to attack coach following an excellent first year in senior coaching in 23/24.

Andrew Weaver and Josh Leonard have both accepted positions as player/coaches, predominately supporting the Staghounds. Both men come full of ideas and a real desire to develop as coaches as they move to the later stages of their playing careers and they bring some really enthusiasm and new ideas to the coaching team.

Dan Simmons, who has worked at the club through the age groups has come on board to support the U23 XV. Having someone who has experience of working through the club has been shown to key in helping our young players to transition into senior rugby and Dan has a very important role to play guiding the team in their first year in the RFU Leagues.

Finally, it is fantastic to confirm Johnny Stevens will continue to lead our S and C programmes - this role becomes even more crucial with the new facility developments approaching completion and he comes with experience which many would find it difficult to match following his time in the Armed Forces.
