So after 4 seasons we finally get our reward …… last years disappointment in finishing 2nd has been a tough one to face over the summer but what seems a distant memory now has helped us pave the way for the squad to grow learn and get stronger.

We can now claim we are league champions and have gained promotion!!!

After 2 league wins in 22/23 and 23/24 not being allowed to move up tiers and be promoted it has been hard on the men , but they have stayed focused and driven the whole time knowing are ultimate goal is to gain promotion and compete at the next level.

It’s huge for the players and our fantastic rugby club that we are competing at the highest level possible.

A big thank you goes out to fellow coach Andy who stepped in at the start of the season and now has a promotion on his cv!! he has done a fantastic job and long may it continue.

The Morans Jocky and Tracey - Not enough can be said about these two , they are the DNA of the stags of which I will Forever be grateful

Catlin for keeping our boys fit and available as the season takes its toll she has worked wonders pitch side for us all to compete at our highest levels.

The stags Ultras - home and away the support has been fantastic, Karl , Cat , Gemma to many to name but the boys appreciate this more than u know

Finally the buy in from the boys - it takes a squad effort not only the 18 who get selected on match day , across the board the focus and goal has always been promotion when the players are motivated it makes coaching a lot easier of which i thank you all.

I started this journey 4 years ago with fellow coach Mark Lord we knew what we were capable of and today we finally finished the job , Lordy it’s done ….
