Hinckley overcame Taunton Titans, at Leicester Road, claiming a bonus-point victory, in front of their own fans.
Titans skipper, Ratu Vakalutukali, crossed inside five minutes, fly-half Thomas Putt converting for a full house.
Locating their mojo, Hinckley sparkled: over went prop George Patten, preceding a second home try from winger, Sam Read’s, dazzling feet.
Despite Tom Addison missing his first two kicks off the tee, Hinckley stretched their lead ahead of half-time, thanks to full-back, Matt Guilfoy’s try. Addison’s radar now accurate, the hosts added a further five points, via a conversion and penalty.
The scoring wasn’t done there for the first half, either: the two scrumhalf’s swapped scores, as Titans’ Scott Gibson’s try was cancelled out by Ben Pointon’s response for Hinckley, both tries converted by the nines’ respective halfback partners.
Into the Spring second half, where Hinckley established an icy iron grip, as Addison’s second penalty, combined with the extras for Read’s clinical second, took Hinckley clear.
Battling back, Gibson bagged himself a brace, before Addison kicked Hinckley to 40.
Converted tries from Elvis Taione and Freddy Elliott earned Titans a bonus point.
Hinckley centre, Callum Dacey darted across, though, to round off the hosts’ happy home outing.
