Hinckley continued their positive attacking form on Saturday picking up their fourth try bonus of 2017 with a 29-22 win over Preston.
Preston got the first opportunity for points after 3 minutes with a converged penalty goal. Hinckley then dominated possession and territory and looked likely to score the first try however after a turnover in midfield the visiting scrum half Ryan Glynn who will
Provide a handful for teams for the rest of the season made a break and a perfectly weighted grabber kick was collected by the winger who fed inside for the try and a 8-0 lead.
Hinckley however finally kicked into gear in the second quarter. Conor Buillivant got the home side on the board with a penalty, and then with 33 minutes on the clock he finished superbly in the right hand corner after some excellent team play. He then converted his own try for a 10-8 lead. Then, with the final play of the half Hinckleys dominant scrummage lead to a score for the captain Alex Salt.
Hinckley continued there strong showing at the start of the second half and Preston suffered having two men sent to the bin - Ben Avent scored the third try on 50 minutes and the bonus point then came from a push over finished again by Salt on 58 minutes. Buillivant converted both tries.
Following that Preston went up a gear, and helped with an increasing Hinckley penalty count scored a their second try with 13 minutes to play, and then earned a bonus point with a score from a lineout with just a minute left on the clock.
