Dominant display from the Staghounds

Hinckley continued to impress in the first home league game of the season. After a solid performance at Lutterworth last week and good training sessions in the week the Staghounds were looking forward to getting the league home campaign off to a good start.

From the off Hinckley's scrum was totally dominant against a bigger south pack, enabling a good platform for the backs to play off. South Leicester were up against in all areas of the field and by half time Hinckley had managed to notch up a 24-0 first half lead.

The second half pretty much started in the same vain with Hinckley dominant in terms of territory and possession. An eager performance from the team as a whole was we're really starting to cause South Leicester problems. In fairness to South Leicester they did their best to push Hinckley back but when they lost a man injured late on and in the poor weather conditions it was always going to be a tall order.

The final score ended 58-0 to Hinckley. Well done on another great team effort.
