Staghounds win in a hard fought battle

Full credit has to go to both teams for a hard fought battle at Leicester Forest RFC. The first half did not start well for both teams with the Staghounds and LFE doing their best to get some continuity to the play early on. After things settled down a bit Hinckley managed to put away two tries in the first half but unfortunately did not manage to get their conversions on target. The debut try from Joe Doyle and Julians ended the first half.

After a couple of quick changes and a brief motivational chat the start of the second half set off totally different for the Staghounds with much better possession and territory from the off. Play was now starting to tick over and you could soon see the difference between the teams although LFE were not giving up easily. With a further 4 tries notched up from Isaac, Kieran, Jordan and Tom, 3 converted well by Julian, the Stags finished in fine style.

Man of the match went to Bulla for some of the biggest hits this season, Fijian style!
