There were 6 changes for the stags with Dale Bowyer, Joe Hyett, Tom Robinson, Kristian Powell Logan Whittingham and Liam Hubbard all coming in to the side.
After a positive week on the training field the stags where ready to make up from last weeks poor display.
The stags established set piece dominance early doors and where looking comfortable when they were rewarded the first try of the day from Dale Bowyer after some solid play from the Stags forwards.
5-0
Whilst the stags continued to have the upper hand, silly mistakes meant we could not turn possession into points
Finally with a lineout 5 meters out Dale Bowyer popped up again after dotting down for Hinckley’s 2nd just before the half time whistle
10-0 to the stags at half time.
After the half time team talk the stags came to life an where growing in confidence.
The backs now where creating a lot of chances with Cam Coates dotting over the line after a solid scrum gave the backs good clean ball to play with.
17-0
Soon after some slick play from the backs seen Kristian Powell go over under the sticks to bring the score to 24-0
Next it was Market Rasen who were on the score sheet after some good possession and go forward from the forwards, a clever kick from the base of the ruck went deep into the stags 22 when a mix up meant the ball fell loose over the try line with the away sides 15 first to react for an easy score
24-7
To finish the game of another lovely attack by the Hinckley lead to a superb try by Will Spires to complete the home win
31-7
This was just the reaction the stags needed after last weeks wake up call , there were some solid performances with Dale Bowyer and Adam Groocock putting in big shifts for the forwards.
Special mention goes to Logan Whittingham the youngster making his stags League debut had an outstanding game on the wing and was very close to getting star man
But that award goes to Kristian Powell who was fantastic all game and looked dangerous every time he had the ball.
Next week we are on the road away at Burton, which we know from last season’s experience will be a tough encounter
