Another hard fought win on the road against Broadstreet takes the stags to 6 wins from 6 in the league.
There was some changes to the stags squad this week with Cameron Coates set to make his stags debut at Fly half after an impressive first few weeks at training
Hinckley started the game strong and where making holes in the Broadstreet defence at ease with some fine handling and running lines from both the backs and forwards . This was rewarded with tries from James Moreton who was outstanding all day , Ewan Bartlett and Ben Brogden all touching down within the first 20 mins of the game.
Broadstreet got themselves back into the game putting pressure on the stags for the remainder of the first half. Credit to the stags defence however as Broadstreet only managed to pick up 3 points from that pressure after being on the Hinckley try line for a good 10mins taking the score to 3-19 to the stags at half time.
At the start of the 2nd half it was Broadstreet who came out firing. They put together a series of attacks which led to a well worked try to get themselves back into the game and bringing the scores to 19-10.
Hinckley hit straight back through some excellent pressure on Broadstreets scrum half, charging down his box kick and landing nicely in Shae Nixons hands who produced a strong finish running through 3 would be defenders to bring the scores to 26-10 The stags then finished the game off with two tries from returning winger Euan Kelly to take the game well out of Broadstreets reach with the game finishing at 10-40 to the stags.
As a squad the stags performed well from 1-18 but a few individuals to mention are James Moreton who was outstanding , Ewan Bartlett again showed some superb support lines throughout the full 80 .
But this weeks star man goes to Cameron Coates who controlled the game excellently on his stags debut.
