A well drilled Bosworth outfit showed they wanted it more

Perfect conditions meant for another open running game and many 3's lacking fitness showed early in the game.

Bosworth came out strong looking well drilled and keen to win in the opening league game of the season.

Strong running and some weak tackling kept Hinckley on the back foot and when the chance arose Lally was given the task to put Hinckley on the board with a penalty which he easily slotted in the 22.

In the second half Hinckley used the advantage of downhill to try and turn Bosworth pinning them back and there was some chances of scrums and line outs that the forwards should have utilised better to turn into points.

From a penalty 5 metres out Lally threw a width of the pitch pass to Harvey who crashed over which Lally duly converted. A strong willed comeback in the last 20 minutes was not enough and Hinckley need to work harder to come out of the blocks earlier.

A strong game and being at every tackle and breakdown first earned Marcus Armstrong a well deserved man of the match.
