14 man power kicks off a great team result

Hunters travelled to Broadstreet expecting the usual hard fought game in good conditions!

We kicked off with 14 men and through some slick hands opened the scoring with a try down the wing by eburn surprising the opposition! Cracking tackling from every man a good work by the forwards in the rucks soon led to good ball and after some good running rugby Harvey took a brilliant line and crashed over for try number 2. Hinckley squandered some good chances for over playing in places and a couple of missed penalty kicks meant broad street had every chance of coming back. Hinckley played to their strengths and with a massive overlap Mick Monger backed himself and crashed over for try number 3! Lally duly slotted the conversion and that was the first half over.

The second half was a frantic affair with end to end rugby Hinckley dominating in scrum and line out should have done better and converted more possession into points then the break came from a cracking 5 man line out great step through the gap by stoker who then offloaded to Hussein who duly dotted down Lally converted and that pretty much summed up a cracking game from 1-15 every man worked for the result!

Special mention to Luke who played full back caught every ball ran hard and tackled everything earning man of the match!
