Hinckley just miss out on County Cup Glory

Hinckley faced Market Harborough in the Cup Final, who also had a nail biting Semi final against last years Champions Oadby, winning the toss of a coin after a 0-0 score line. (tough on the Champions). Hinckley battled hard against a Harborough side who were very quick to the breakdown, excellent defence from Lockett and Wass helped Hinckley to 0-0 score line at half time. The second half continued to be a tough battle, Harborough pinning Hinckley deep inside their own half, and when the referee failed to keep up with play, missing a high tackle on a Hinckley player, Harborough ran in the first and only score to end the match. Hinckley 0pts Harborough 5pts.
